The Rim Project (2012) was made during my Art Foundation Diploma at Newcastle College. We were briefed to design and make a vessel with an interesting rim. I used stoneware clay and used moulds of hands to hand build a vessel. I also used sprayed oatmeal white on the outside and tenmaku glaze on the inside.
