The Cullercoates Project (2012), was designed and made during my time at Newcastle College and working towards my Art Foundation Diploma. It was inspired by the Cullercoates beach in Whitley Bay. They are my second ceramic project ever.

Three tall garden sculptures, one inspired by the sea, another by the sand and the final one by the rocks. I hand built these organic sculptures using crank stoneware clay. Creating a texture was vital for this artwork.
